I'll be there for a few hours; we had previous night-time plans so I'm only coming by as a spectator and bringing the wife along. Prob be there from 2-4ish. Was thinking about racing the truck, but it will have to wait for another time. In +1 Spectate only (unless it's raining in the afternoon.. then not going to make it at all)

I got a 12.29 with the stock 245 50 20 all season tires

I then put my old jeep srt8 rear tires (285 40 20 all season) on the back and now got the 12.19 with a best of 1.795 60 ft.

I'd love to put a drag radial on the back to see what it can do as I'm launching off idle.

I may show as spectator. My drag radials are so old that I don't trust them to hold together anymore, and I have no interest in trying to get any sort of traction on street tires.

Rain out!!!

No racing today.

Rain Date?

BonzoHansen 10-11-2014 08:16 AM

Nada. It's not meant to be this year.

I think we should crash jersey mikes house.

I have a tiny apartment (which I am currently trying to figure out how to weasel out of, now that Island has been cancelled), but by all means, come on by and do the chores I'm running from. The 1st lady runs a tight ship on the weekends.

The_Bishop 10-11-2014 09:15 AM

Well, at least by next year I should have my heads/cam upgrade done and some decent tires?

When you say chores, if you mean drink beer and eat chicken wings then I am in.

There's a full dishwasher and a grocery list with your name all over it.

speaking of wings... I was considering going to this place for some wings after Island is over since it's only a few mins away.

marleys Gotham Grill... check out their 50 different flavors of wings on page 2 of the menu on this page http://www.marleysgothamgrill.net/?page_id=33

ive never been, but was considering giving it a whirl

thehazguy 10-11-2014 12:06 PM

Never been there but I know a few folks that have been. They like the wings. Amazing that I live in town and haven't gone. If you plan on going look at the link for coupons. Can help the cost.

Best place to park is around the back and walk up to Main Street. Parking on Main Street can be a hassle.

Their wings are very tasty but a bit expensive.
