ahahahahahahahah I just saw a commercial for pinks :kneeslap:

BigAls87Z28 02-27-2006 12:25 AM

My new favorite commercial is the one for Avis where they have DMX playing, and people getting out of the "cool" GM cars, like the CTS, H3, and the HHR. I like the old people getting out of the H3. Classic.

If Kasey was on the box, the marshmellows would be taccos, nachos and buritos.

unfortunately the market is all going digital. As much as I love my digital SLR, nothing beats film.

most of the ones in brazil i hear, maybe we'll follow suit soon

I was talking to my GF the other day about future fuels and such. I plan on keeping my SS for life and for my kids to see and experience, but then i think...will fossil fuels still be available in say 40 years? At this rate, mayeb not. Now they say "restore them, dont crush them" regarding older classic cars, but if in the future, Gasoline is nto available...whats goign to happen to the collector car industry. I guess they will have to keep some fuel stations open here and there and the price will probably go up even more. So think about it. in 20 years 75% of the cars will be alternate fuel source possibly. Avergae life/use of an average(not collector/sport) gas vehicle is say 15 years. So in 20 years, most switch over to new fuel, add another 15 to allow most gas vehicle to die out(like the dinosaurs) and so in 35 years, the whole fuel market could be completely different. For use now, we have cars from the 20's(with minor changes) running on the same gas that a 2007 car runs on. thats about 90 years using the same basic fuel, I guess someday instead of doing SBC swaps into vintage musclecars, we'll be doign like 20k Watt electric motor conversion swaps into 4 gen f bodies... hey , you never know... Its definately something to think about...

you're telling me you don't have one of those film drives?? c'mon man, get with the times ;)

As far as digital cameras go, I don't know if digital quality will ever actually reach film quality. Right now, I can take some negatives, use the negative scanner behind me and make a print at the equivalent of 15 or more megapixels. Nothing beats the quality of film, however, it seems digitals are more useful and eventually less expensive than film.

turbo96z28 02-27-2006 04:36 PM

film seems to be going the way of VHS and cassette tapes.

Savage_Messiah 02-27-2006 05:06 PM

Ohhhhhhhh the irony billy... was that on purpose??

turbo96z28 02-27-2006 05:16 PM

i'll leave that to the reader to figure out........

79CamaroDiva 02-27-2006 08:31 PM

im not quite sure that i get it...

turbo96z28 02-27-2006 08:33 PM
