and who will do that for me? I want to have it tuned...

NJSPEEDER 01-23-2006 07:59 PM

any number of shops can do it for you for a lump of cash.
ask around to see who in your area can start teaching you stuff. if you keep paying other people to work on your car you will never learn for yourself.
carbs are really pretty simple, timing is easy if you keep it simple, and if you still have a computer in your car there are a good number of people aroudn here that understand them too.

Matt might actually do better than some of you guys if it wasn't for the slipping trans. FWD drivetrain loss > RWD drivetrain loss.

rgaynor85 01-30-2006 09:19 AM

ok would i be able to pay $100 and bring my trans am along with my gf and her 2004 monte carlo ss supercharged i like playing with her car and would love to be able to dyno hers also so we have a good idea where were starting on her car if she must she can register but i dont see why i couldnt just bring her with me

NJSPEEDER 01-30-2006 03:54 PM

if you wanna sign up and dyno both cars, go for it. you can send your payment via paypal ( paypal@njfboa.org ) or jsut pay up at one of the monthly meets or hang out nights that tru2chevy or myself attend. jsut be sure to include your full name, user name, and what the cars are when you send your payment so we can add you to the list. :)
