yea i seen that thread a while back i wasnt sure if you settled on a wheel yet or not... those are going to look sick man on your car... i was in the same boat i like some more pricey wheels but only had so much to spend... and what i spent was enough for me lol.

PolarBear 06-25-2013 09:02 PM

Yeah, I'm ready to sell a kidney to buy my wheels, lol

transmaro93 06-30-2013 09:20 AM

so got some packages in on friday and did a test fit on the rear yesterday. looks like im going to need to do somthing with my LCA's. ill either call spohn and get those other ones that james brought to my attention. or just alter mine to work which is basically what they did. leaning toward doing it my self if i can get my hands on some heavy steel tubing. other than that they look like they will fit no problem everywhere else.

thank you sir... and "dem small calipers" stayen on there for a while becuase brakes arent in the budget.. plug only have less then an inch of clearance left from the stock lt1 brakes so i have no clue what ill use in the back when the time comes... doubt there is a fixed caliper out there that will clear the wheel

ThoR294 07-01-2013 05:02 PM

LS1 brakes up front should fit... upgrade was ezpz

transmaro93 07-01-2013 06:42 PM

not worried about the front... the rear brakes is whats going to be the problem... idk what i can use back there to get a bigger brake setup..

transmaro93 07-13-2013 05:56 PM

well little progress on the car... but boat is just about ready to go in. gotta paint bottom yet and change oil and gear oil and should be set... got her striped, and new numbers courtesy of kirk@undergrounds (thanks again). also got brand new emblems...

Rear brakes don't do a whole lot anyway... wouldn't worry about them

LTb1ow 07-14-2013 12:22 AM

Gear oil is by far the most repulsive oil there is. Aside from burnt gear oil.

Blackbirdws6 07-14-2013 06:24 AM

Lookin good

sweetbmxrider 07-14-2013 08:00 AM

I do agree gear oil is rather putrid. Burnt dexcool is pretty bad too though....

transmaro93 07-14-2013 08:36 AM

lol this is sad my thread has turned into a debate on which oil smells the worst....

sweetbmxrider 07-14-2013 09:58 AM

You should polish the trailer.
