faster reaction time wins races. in heads up if the cars are equal or very close the person who leaves first wins, in bracket racing if your reaction time is better than the other person it gives you more margain at the big end to maek sure you get there first without going under your dial.

the moral of the story, reaction times count.

how does that help?
raise your dial, get dogged on the tree, other lane paces you for the last 100ft.
changing your dial doesn't help anything if you suck at the starting line.

:stupid:
yeah, what he said.. the only thing it will do is help you try to push the other person to break out. but usually the only thing that happens is they realize they cant catch you, they lift, and you go under. you still lose. there's no hope in brackets if you cant cut a light. but since we wont be bracket racing, it wont be an issue at our bbq...

project89 06-08-2006 08:27 PM

lol can i burnout across the starting line?

I'm a newer member and haven't had a chance to post much on the site, but this BBQ sounds like fun. I'd like to meet some new people and see everyone's cars. Probably can't make it until almost 7:30pm, is that too late?

IROCZBeast 06-11-2006 06:42 AM

I'm definately in, we're going to have the track all to ourselves or is it going to be open to the public too?

V 06-11-2006 09:12 AM

i'll answer that one for melissa. lol. The track will be only us, but like stated before, it will be only one lane open to run, so only one car at a time, that way is because of insurance reasons.

IROCZBeast 06-11-2006 02:39 PM

sounds like a good time. I'm working till 6 that day but I'll try to get off. If not I'll just be arriving a little late.

79CamaroDiva 06-11-2006 04:51 PM
