I'm just glad the 396 didn't have any overheating issues with the hot, humid conditions. It would have been nice to hang out longer but it was an ugly day. I got home and ended up going out in the boat and jumping in the river to cool off. The fish kicked my butt, I went 2 for 9 trying to get smallmouth in the boat.

it was a good meet. and i managed to get my waitress's number ;) and then hung out with her last night.

P.S. the other waitress said the "old guys" :lol: tipped her really good. im not being sarcastic either.

The old guys all had $20 bills and didn't feel like doing math. :lol: The complimentary lemonade from the Bob Evans lady was a nice gesture too. I think that's the most visitor interest I've seen at one of our meets. A lot of people going in to eat stopped to look at the cars. Too bad it was so hot and humid and difficult to hang out. And where did Ron go, he never did come back outside? :scratch:
