W...but I really want a 70 Z28 4 speed spit bumper. Silver with black stripes.

I was watching a past Mecum auction on TV the other night and that exact car, except a 73 and might not have been an RS, went past the block ~$22,000. I thought it was good buy for what appeared to be a near perfect car.

Well played. I really like the TTA for its engineering and concept, but would choose a a blue 70 LT1 (non opti version) Split Bumper car.
1st gens are played out and I have one of every other generation

either a 74 trans am black/gold with the sd 455 or 77 trans am black/gold with the 6.6 or 1969 white/blue stripe

My first thought was "I don't think you could get a '74 T/A SD455 in black/gold," but then I found this 1974 John Player Special concept car:

I've been a fan of these colors since it came out as a factory combo in 1976, but until now I never realized where that paint scheme originated. Makes sense, given the success and popularity of the JPS Lotus F1 cars in the mid-70s:

With the obscurity bonus points, your pick gets my vote.

91-92 Firehawk and a 99 30th T/A inverse color.
