I rarely see him post, so I forget about him most of the time. But as Bill says he's there too. There are quite a few fast third gens on this website - they just don't represent the majority third gens.

I'll take an STI over any turd gen anyday. Including Bills, not because bill's car sucks but because I'm a bigger fan of racing with turns. Plus stock for stock turd gen will get murdered.

going back to the original post, i had an encounter like that once with a wrx. 3 kids from town were sitting in a parking lot(one had a modded wrx, one had an sti, one had an RX8) and as i drove past one shouted "my cars faster!!! let's race! wanna go?" and so on.

found out 2 months later that kid hit a wall doing 120mph. he was okay but the car was totaled. they weren't bad kids, just reckless.

oh and did i mention i accepted the challenge and destroyed him? none of them ever offered to race again. that was the last and only time i really street raced. i now realize how dumb it was/is. i'm much more responsible and careful now. might do a little pull on the way somewhere for kicks with a friend but thats it.

street racing is teh gay....especially roll races. i liked it when we were able to go out on dover road back in the day.

The older wrx cars dont really handle any better than a 3rd gen. Cant speak for STI or newer ones. My 924 would be an excelent track car if only it had some power...the handling and brakes are quite awesome though. I got beat by an sti the other night in my formula. boo!

I will be out a lot more this summer once I'm off the provisional license in June. I am at the big wawa with 1-2 other f-bodies atleast twice a month. I'm sure I'll see you around once the cops calm down, until then, I'm laying low..

i dont know why you guys are saying third gens are slow. i used to race my 305 all the time and i won alot of races. now i have stuff done to my 305 but stock yea they suck

when it comes to subarus, wrx sti's whatever the hell they are i have no clue what the differences are between any of them. i couldent name an import if my life depended on it, i dont even bother racing because yes i know i would get destroyed. they have turbos or whatnot
