You act like this doesn't go for any car a young and wreckless kid would drive. I've had my license for 4 years, in and out of fast cars, and bikes and I have 0 tickets and 0 accidents.

You must work for an insurance company..

get a Impala or Malibu, but if you want somethin a little more sporty get in a camaro V6 with 300hp and still get 29MPG and the insurance wont kill ya.The Impala and malibu are very nice rideing cars and get 30+ MPG depending on the engine choice and they are nice inside too!!My choice would be the camaro V6 and put some stripes on the car :)

I do like the Chevy Sonic, and thought about my wife getting one, but my only problem is they are still relatively new to the market per-say. I usually like to give a couple years to allow any factory defects show up and be corrected, but they did do something right when designing those headlights. You'd spend sub 20K, and have a ride that will have a huge aftermarket soon.

I know its weird.. GM car talk on a GM forum!! Who would have thought it?

I have always loved the G8 since it 1st came out. Now that we own one we love it even more. Nothing like running a 13.6@103 bone stock in a 4 door on 87 octane!! Cant wait to get some headers, full exhaust, and maybe break a 12 second pass all while running regular unleaded!!

Uh what?

Lesson one, everything I post is either tongue in check, or sarcastic.

Lesson two, I would love a stryker blue G8.

Lesson three, a 7k lb crew cab truck running 12s is better.

sweetbmxrider 08-31-2012 12:00 PM

I'd like myself a poor man's cadillac :D

Slow-V6 08-31-2012 12:02 PM

I dont know about that one.. I think Running 13's in a 4 door on 87 octane is better then running 13's in a GXP. Just my thoughts. Every car that I ever owned that ran 13's had to run 93 octane.

1320B4U 08-31-2012 12:04 PM

Don't take me seriously either...:()

Never know, some people take this interwebz thing way to seriously

And you people and your fancy high octane gas... guess that makes running 13s on just regular old diesel that much better.

Didn't that guy light his car on fire or something? Or am I thinking of the guy who make a trans am into a sunfire?

After being at the track last night during import night and watching all those 15,14,13 second fully built hondas out there yeah I am very happy that our daily driver runs 13's. This is the 1st daily driver that is actually a blast to drive, runs whith stock C5 vettes ( which most of them out there are), and uses the cheapest gas possible for daily driving a car!

All my other daily drivers used 87 octane and were slow as **** or drove like crap like my jeep..

those hondas arent fully built, or, built by morons. and i guess on a sight where performance cars are all that matter, the cheapest gas is a great argument?
