Prob all of those who lack a support vehicle.

I have debated towing it. My 10 bolt may go kaboom

Get some AAA plus but make sure you sign up at least a week beforehand.

Featherburner 08-08-2013 07:24 AM

Since I own a trailer it would be foolish not to have it.

You should tow it behind your car!

Hagerty towing FTW! It's better than AAA Plus, and cheaper and it is in some ways better than AAA Premier and about half the price

Yep, like flatbed only.

Their high octane plan is more expensive than what I pay for AAA Plus. I have never had an issue getting a flatbed from AAA. I see a couple nice benefits to the High Octane plan which gives you 25 extra miles and unlimited emergency requests. I think AAA plus limits you to like 5 requests a year or w/e. I may look into this and see what kind of pricing they can offer. Do you know if the Hagerty provides benefits to you the person, or just the vehicles in your household? I know AAA basically covers you so if you are with a buddy and get stuck, AAA will still provide service.

PolarBear 08-08-2013 09:03 AM

The High octane plan is a lot less if you have a plan with them, just FYI. I think I pay $80 or $90 for the year combined with my plan. It covers any vehicle you are in if I remember correctly, not just limited to vehicles you own. Even covers you trailer.

Hagerty Plus covers the first 125 miles of guaranteed flatbed towing OR the first $100 of other roadside services like fuel delivery, battery jumps and lockouts. This plan covers an unlimited number of emergency service requests per year for all of your household vehicles - not just your classics- and trailers towing your classic vehicles.
I was also told that if you need to go more that 125 miles you have the car dropped and then you call again for a new tow. Whether that is accurate or not I don't know

I will look into it considering our membership is currently up for renewal soon.

Blackbirdws6 08-10-2013 03:53 PM

Yes it is accurate. Also accurate that you didn't give me your deposit.

Jersey Mike 08-10-2013 06:35 PM

Let's see if my heap ever runs again before we try to push it down across state, and down a track at speed.
