My best friend used to have LAN parties ... crazy **** ... we'd be in different rooms, and say I shot one of them, Id hear halfway across the house "**** YOU NOAH!!!!!!!!!! ******* SNIPER!!!!!"

That's exactly what the floor in my dorm used to sound like. We used to scream at each other down the hallway.

I figured we could try AvP2. It was made in 01 so if it's made for ME then it could work with XP as well. I find it strange that an old program won't work with XP, i thought that the newer windows could run all programs that worked on any windows before it. I'm gonna see if I can find AvP2: Gold Edition somewhere and I'll give it a shot and if it works, I'll see if I can't find a way to hook you guys up with it somehow and we could have a LAN party with that! Preds FTW!!!!!!!!!!!

EDIT: Just checked AvP planet, AvP2: Primal Hunt (the expansion pack included in AvP2: Gold Edition) says "Minimum System Requirements: Windows 95/98/2000/ME/XP". So if the expansion pack says it will work with XP it is logical to assume that the main game will as well, so I think we may have just found a solution.

Either that or you could wait till I get it and then after I get it, I won't copy the file to a DVD disk and then I won't hook you up with it for free. Of course this is illegal and I would NEVER do anything like that for the sake of playing a huge LAN game with some friends or anything. :rofl:

This may be more difficult than I thought. I'm looking on Amazon and the used ones are goin for like 50bux, I'll keep checkin tho. I'm sure I'll find one on eBay or I'll find one used and in a bargan bin somewhere. And me, breaking the law? Never.

I've been looking, I can find AvP1 Gold Edition, but even that has some holes in the program. If there was an easy way don't you think I woulda done it by now. LOL. I'm gonna ask all my friends to see if they have it.
