Anemic doesnt sound decent. It sounds sick :barf: A Camaro isnt "rice" but u can sure as hell make it sound like rice!! If it doesnt sound like muscle then why bother to waste ur money and put some loud exhaust on it? thats just asking for someone to criticize. ;)

well i didn't pick the mufler...i took the car to petersons and all they asked was v-force or flowmaster...and i said flomaster cause v-force sounded cheap to me...they did the rest...2.5 inch cat back..dual 2.5 outs to 3.5 inch tips...i just replaced the coils and it sounds alot better...and doesn't smell of raw gas anymore...still burn oil when its cold...needs to be rebuilt

Peterson's.....Egg Harbor City?

bubba428 02-19-2007 08:58 AM

yup...not the mufler shop in front...the performance shop in the back...they weld everything together and have a mandrel bender so its all custom fited to the car...but they gave me a sweet azz price cause my dad used to send them busniss and they let him use the shop and lift...and cause i work at advance and have connections through there

I am also meeting at stockton ( sorry for the late response. I was away for the weekend.). I have been to Petersons, but I had them install a SLP Loudmouth II and it sounds purdy. I do have a couple of hiccups with the car though, because it keeps throwing the SES light. Too lean at higher MPH/RPM and I don't know how to fix that. Petersons as well as the SSChevy in Mays Landing have no clue what to do.. so I am lost there. >.<

Somehow, I doubt fuel injector cleaner will solve the hiccup problem. HAve you had the car scanned to see what code its throwing? At high RPM, does it make a difference with how much % of throttle your giving it?

Redogg322 02-19-2007 09:45 PM

Hey NJSPEEDER, count me in for the February meet.

Problems74 02-20-2007 08:43 AM

I had it checked all the time and it consistently throws O2 codes Low Volt, though they have been checked and replaced and are good. Somehow I was told there is just not enough fuel getting to the engine, so I am not sure. ...also, I might be bringing a guest with me and the car.. is that okay, or do we ride alone.. lol

bubba428 02-20-2007 08:56 AM

o2 low voltage means theres so little exaust flowing through th oxygen sensor can't read them...i think u may need a fuel filter, pump or injectors

thats why i said to use a cleaner...they just may be cloged

GrandmasterCow 02-20-2007 09:48 AM

i might be making it if im back from FL and can find a ride lol

FBODS4EVER 02-20-2007 09:50 AM

Problems74 02-20-2007 09:53 AM
