Its the exact same combo as I was going to do my self. Mussy

the difference is how long it will take to blow up, not that my engine is some shop built masterpiece.

JSPERFORMANCE 01-12-2008 01:05 PM

I am not building Matts engine, it was already assembled when it got to my shop.

If you have a problem with how people get the work done on their cars then you need to get over it. You need to concentrate on getting your car together instead of obsessing over ....."He had his car worked on by a shop blah blah blah." Put up or shut up. The only thing that matters in the end is who crosses the stripe first.

wow dude you completely misunderstood that. I don't care who builds who's car in the long run I'll probably have wished i had the shop do the bottom end, hence why i made a JOKE mentioning my engine. If your referring to that argument over that from before, that wasn't even me.

I wouldnt do that if I were you...

NJSPEEDER 01-13-2008 02:12 PM

only if it is a fun run, i wouldn't suggest matt putting any money on it.

If you want a money race, your racing my T/A

Rafterman 01-13-2008 08:43 PM

I'll run N/A with ya matt, and you too bubba, bring either car. I don't know what alex has under the hood but it would be a fun race.

Since it isn't a secret, Alex has a cammed 355 LT1 with full exhaust, and (I think) slightly ported heads, along with many supporting mods.

key word WAS. I wasn't planing on having the T/A or any V8 F-body any time soon, but I need a ride it was cheap. I did a very few mods and changed my mind about which one I want to race lol. The Camaro will probably see very high 13s at best, if ever. The trans am just needs tire to match that, but I'm not guessing any better than a mid 14 till I get to the track.
