2. Mustang is 17 years newer, no matter how much you hate ford I will bet that a car that is 17 years younger, on average, will give you a lot less problems than a car that is 17 years older.
3. Better gas mileage. (EPA 20/29mpg)
4. Better resale value, while '03 v6 mustang is only worth a few grand on average 3rd gen will not touch its price in most cases.
5. As I stated before, third gens make me think of trailer parks.

lol. dude, you know the saying "beauty is in the eye of the beholder". I dont hate ford, its just im not a big fan of that mustang. The car is pretty damn reliable and when it needs parts, im really not that limited because theres alot more performance parts out there for the Camaro, than the V6 Mustang.
And i really dont care about resale value. And that mustang gives my dad alot more problems than the camaro has.:moon:

Yes, that's why I mentioned personal preference. Its the first thing I typed.

That's fine and dandy that you can get performance parts for your third gen; however, have you ever considered that not everyone is a performance enthusiasts, and some people just don't care about your so called "performance parts", and can be just as satisfied with stock parts that you can get anywhere.

Once again, it's great that YOU do not care about resale value but most people who buy cars do, after all they do not want to drive them for the rest of their life, but rather get a new car after a couple of years.

I bet at 17 you have driven your car the same amount as your father, right? Which prompts me to call BS on this comment. However, if you were honest than you would be a rare exception, that's all.

And there's no need for a hug, no one is angry yet.

i just prefer to answer to posts that way, if I have a lot to say. It looks less messy that way, and I address every part of the post that is relevant in my opinion.

ahaha dude u seem so angry, i dont wanna cause any internet post problems but we had to get the transmission replaced at 45k miles, and the whole brake system a little while ago. and we've only owned the car for about 2.5 years. and dad has put about 45k thousand miles on the car, and ive put a little under 3k on it.
oh and i agree with you 100% on personal preference, its all about what , you, the owner looks for in a car. You can get performance, or OEM parts. I personally like to go for performance parts because sometimes they increase power (and sometimes gas mileage at the same time), also at times their cheaper.

i hope im not causing u any problems, because the way it was written u seemed pretty pissed off. :|

It's the internet, I don't take it serious for the most part. So no worries.

Here I'll include a "" to ease the situation.
