It seems like more people break when it gets really cool out and other people can't get traction. I know cool air makes more power but if it's too cold it seems to cause a lot more problems. Hopefully the weather holds up for you.

I told you this setup was more thought out:wink: I'm still on stock springs and shocks, everything else was upgraded a long time ago.

sweetbmxrider 11-22-2009 11:11 AM

stock shocks? aw come on now!

JerzLT1 11-22-2009 12:26 PM

yeah just so you know my shocks held me back ALOT when i had stockers. you may want to look into something adjustable or if you need to keep it cheap throw some KYB GR2s on it, theyre fairly stiff and should keep the tires planted

I gotta work out the initial bugs of this setup and then I'll work on suspension next year.

Yea, what, are you trying to run as fast as me?

S.J.SLEEPER 11-22-2009 04:14 PM

stock shocks & springs might work for him...... they have 185k on them. so should be shot allowing car to squat decently.

thats the old timers cheap way out. don't have $ for drag springs/shocks.... then pull them out of a junkyard car w/200k on them.

Squat is bad. M'kay.

Kat 11-22-2009 07:04 PM

Squat is ok, its the excessive rebound that unloads the tires is what hurts ya.

And the numbers are in

Well I had some free time tonight so I decided to make a short video with pics of the build and a video of the dyno runs.

Let me know what you guys think

NJ Torque 11-25-2009 08:14 PM

No offense, those numbers seem kind of low for LS6 heads with that big of a cam...

you've also got to remember that the intake manifold and rear are playing a factor in those numbers. Dyno numbers are only numbers...the real test will be at the track on Sunday.

sweetbmxrider 11-25-2009 08:28 PM

pretty sweet vin, pretty sweet.

Hahaha I can't trust me. I've never driven a stick car down the track only automatics. I still have some bolt ons to get so I'll have more
hp soon:wink: Let me learn how to drive with the m-6 first and I think it will be a pretty good match

yeah the problem is that they arent putting enough pressure down at that point. theres a video somewhere around here where you can see my tires jump into the wheel wells because the shocks are so blown
