I didn't read the whole thread but I assume both lanes would be for drag tires? Would I have to wait until the end of the day to run in an awd car on street tires?

Yes. Both lanes will be for drag tires. We ran just about until the end of the rental last year so you honestly may not get many runs in unless you wanted to hot lap the car like crazy.

I'll also be driving my pile.

Will he be on a drag tire? We can fit him in if that's the case.

Just track numbers people requested.

If you can send the deposit and let me know what you will be running then I can add you to the list.

None that I am aware of....but maybe lunch for Adam ;)

PolarBear 08-19-2013 12:31 PM

I think I can go to this. If someone can bring a grill, I can work on the cooking, unless people hated my work at the DIP meet.

We could work it like the DIP meet, everyone brings something. I have a table I think I can fit in the Firebird.

Any help would be appreciated. I am working with the powers that be to determine how and who can help with the event. While BBQ is tastier, it may be easier just doing sandwiches and such.

Let's not get the rumor mill going just yet.

I have a spare Webber laying around. I'll pull it out and see if it still works.

I'd love to but I don't think there is time.

Let the grass grow and get it done :)

LTb1ow 08-19-2013 01:09 PM

I will have a basically empty 8ft bed if you want to bring a grill Adam, just would need a heads up so we can load up early. Could also bring a table etc.

The truck should fit your big grill, not like I will be getting good mileage anyway.

Yes but cooking for 15+ people on it won't work out well especially in colder weather. If someone has a nice 4+ burner grill, we'd be in good shape. My 3 burners, not so much.

Blackbirdws6 08-23-2013 07:06 AM

The rental is on the 4th of November just to clarify an error on the edited original post. It is on a Monday.

Blackbirdws6 08-23-2013 07:37 AM

I cleaned up the original post to make the details more clear.

LTb1ow 08-23-2013 07:46 AM

Will there be an official rental thread?
