So next topic... why are they making so many ****ing flavored sodas? I have Black Cherry Vanilla Coke. While it is pretty good, whats wrong with coke/pepsi, sprite/sierra mist (or the soda formerly known as 7 up) and root beer? keep it simple people!

bad64chevelle 03-07-2006 06:36 PM

I donno. I dont really drink soda and havent noticed but hear about them sometimes. Last think I remember was vanilla coke which I lived on for two weeks on a trip to Maine with my buddy, that stuff was awesome!

WayFast84 03-07-2006 06:45 PM

don't be nervous. parents are parents. We've all been there. Keep your cool, and keep your hands to yourself til you're at the dance.

i need to bitch.......

[RANT] my luck sucks. last year, right before i was about to order the turbo for my car, a few issues arose around the house and money was needed. so i put buying it on hold, family first you know........

so this year i'm just about ready money wise to order it, and i realize my truck is coming up for inspection. mind you, i have to go through specialty inspection because of the modified height, so i started going over the truck and realize i got alot of **** to do to get it certified with the 37s and body lift on it. i installed the body lift and 37s about a year and a half ago, after i already went through with 33s and a 6 inch supension lift (technically 5.5 inch).

now here's the problem, the tires fit fine for daily driving, but are too close to the body to pass inspection. and...since i lifted the truck higher since the last inspection, i have to get totally re-certified for the new height.

all this means, i had to order new 6 inch coil springs for the front, new 4 inch leaf springs for the rear, cut-out flares (the fender flares that are riveted on), dual steering stabilizer, new 6 inch drop pitman arm, and new shocks.

that stuff alone cost me about $1500 (thank god i don't have to pay someone to install it)

on top of that, i have to do front and rear brakes, upper and lower ball joints on both sides, and all new u-joints (front half shafts, front drive shaft, and rear drive shaft).

and that stuff should cost a couple more hundred.....

what this all means is, the turbo just got put off til this coming winter.[/RANT]

good thing is, at least i got most of my chassis stuff and body stuff already......all i have to do is find time to put it on the car.

Ian 03-08-2006 12:21 AM

damn, that sucks. PM me or IM me about inspection.

V 03-08-2006 12:23 AM

i fear having to get my bronco certified... at least all the stuff is new to begin with anyway... '95 fullsize bronco, 8"front/6"rear lift, on 37or38" tires.
