Corbos garage said they'd inspect the rear tomorrow. It is making noise. I hope they are willing to fix it if them leaving pinion loose ****ed my rear

Where do you feel the vibration? Steering wheel? By driver's feet? Passenger feet? Behind you?

Trying to isolate the issue here

Sorry. Key details I missed lol. It feels like driveshaft is out balance, so butt/

LS1ow 10-12-2019 07:14 AM

so the vibration only happens with the clutch pushed in? its barely noticeable otherwise?

Or in neutral. Under 70mph in neutral or clutch in car smooth as butter

wretched73 10-12-2019 10:10 AM

Still waiting to see a list of everything you've tried so far lolol

I can't recall everything you've done and we're on page 6 of this thread

LS1ow 10-12-2019 10:36 AM

so it doesn't vibrate while in gear/under engine load at any time?

Lolol jerk.

-swapped rears, rebuilt rear
-rear lcas
-new driveshaft and ls1 shaft
-swapped used t56s
-torque arm aftermarket and stock
-wheels and tires (c5z set, and OEM straightened and coated with new tires)
-pinion angle
-trans mount

Just did:
Motor mounts

Don't think so. I just drove it and it's smooth in gear. Motor mounts did help with engine side vibration obviously lol.

Just dropped off at corbos. Having them inspect rear, he said he'd make it right. They are going to reinstall the uni torque arm/cross member and do ls1 steering shaft.

Prob would have been cheaper to swap in a JY SBE 5.3

Would make more power too.

Update from Corbos:

Pinion bearing was ****ed, they replaced it. Everything else looked OK. They put back in my UMI torque arm and xmember as well.
