Nuh uh, let's do it at home & let the Phillies fans have at least one home win.

BigAls87Z28 11-02-2009 09:51 PM

No...I really want it to end tonight.

Pedro did fine IMO. "IF" it goes to a Game 7, F Hamels with a spiked bat, pitch Lee on 3 days rest.

Frosty 11-02-2009 10:18 PM

Oh wtf....

JL8Jeff 11-02-2009 10:27 PM

If the Phils can't find a way to get Damon out then they have no chance. They keep playing him to pull the ball when he slaps it the other way 90% of the time.

umm yeah thats 2 days rest, unless you are also praying for a rain out

Frosty 11-02-2009 10:32 PM

Aww crap, for some reason I thought there was a 2 day lay off

<---dumbass

JL8Jeff 11-02-2009 10:32 PM

If it goes to game 7 I think you'll see a nice mix of pitchers from both teams. 3 days rest is never a good idea for anybody, but game 7 changes everything. The last person I want to see pitch is Hamels, he gave up a while ago. Happ for game 7!

Frosty 11-02-2009 10:47 PM

Everyone keeps saying Happ, do you want to throw a rookie out there start Game 7 of the WS, in the Bronx? I don't know....I think Hamels is their only choice....so give the Yanks the trophy now.

BigAls87Z28 11-02-2009 10:49 PM

two back to back, to the 9th inning battles. I cant belive it.
I wish that Tex came out of his slump right then, and there.

hamels was doing ok until that homer off the camera review..... that took his head right out of the game

I would take Happ over Hamels right now no matter what. Hamels gave up on his season weeks ago! When was the last time Hamels went more than 4 innings without giving up runs?

Frosty 11-02-2009 11:44 PM

I can't argue that, regardless of my miscalculation that Mike pointed out I'd throw Lee out there, lol.

I will say this, if I was a Yankees fan I wouldn't want to see a Game 7.

JL8Jeff 11-03-2009 07:43 AM

You could tell that Lee didn't have his best stuff last night so all the people that were saying he should have been used in game 4 will now understand that 3 days rest is not a good idea. Hopefully it goes to game 7.

Slow-V6 11-03-2009 07:53 AM

Hopefully Raul is back.. Then you have Chase, Raul, and Werth to deal with along with a Slumping but on the brink to break out Howard!!

hey you never know he pitched well the first game. hopefully the yanks learned to adjust to that 75 mph breaking ball they were all way out in front out it last game.

Actually, since you are gunna continue to be a douche, my father grew up in Queens, and he was one of the few Yankee fans as most were Mets. He liked the image of the Yankees: clean cut, top notch baseball players, the envy of the league.
Cowboys..well..they were the underdogs forever. They were always the bridesmaids of the NFC.
Cant help that my father happen to fall in love with some of the greatest sports teams of all times. Sorry you fell in love with some of the worst.
