V 03-22-2006 02:09 AM

whoohoo..this is post 301 for me in this thread...haha, and the first to reach 300 in a single thread anywhere on the boards. lol. and like 10 more posts and this thread alone will ahve more posts than the whole south jersey forum.

Kasey, the last rear, the one we took out, did TTP open it up or did they never have the cover off. no offense to anyone one this board that works there, but wow... the quality of the previous rear swap doesnt make them look too good. broken abs wires, half-assed brake lines, double rear cover gaskets... yeesh

Savage_Messiah 03-22-2006 02:11 AM

Who knows, but... yea...

Sorry guys, but that's not right. Chotchkie's was the name of the restaurant that Jennifer Aniston's character Joanna worked in, so she wouldn't have said the name of her own restaurant.

The actual line was: Joanna: "When you say, next door, do you mean, uh, Chili's or-or Flinger's?"

now i gotta watch Office Space tomorrow.

i got a new monitor last night.

it's a Westinghouse LCM-19v7 19" flat panel with intergrated speakers. only $299 at Best Buy.

i gotta say, pretty damn good monitor for the price.

Not too shabby. I only wonder if the refresh rate is as good as they claim. Are you a gamer?

you bet i am. :D

i played a game of Oni on it last night and it looked good, but i'm withholding final judgement til i get my new graphics card in and start running the monitor through that.

right now i'm running an Intel 82845G/GL graphics controller.

Ahh - on most LCDs, switch from the D-sub to the DVI cable will make a night and day difference. I recently bought a Samsung 940b, and it's a really nice monitor. I got it refurbished for $270ish.

turbo96z28 03-22-2006 12:09 PM

i was looking at that monitor. $270 isn't bad.

and i totally agree about he DVI, which is why i can't give a full review yet.

We currently have 10 more posts here than in the entire South Jersey forum. :)

That is all....

this thread has just turned into its own forum i think. It's no longer quite as funny as it was, nor is it nonsensical, however, it just keeps on going.

I have a feeling that there are many people who don't. I showed this picture to some people the other night, and they were very confused:

Savage_Messiah 03-22-2006 03:01 PM

Yea... I knew right off the bat that's why I foudn the smiley so hilarious, but i've gotten the feeling many people think it just some cheap novelty... not soemthing with a rich history and heritage.

79CamaroDiva 03-22-2006 03:09 PM

of course i knew the rich heritage of the pancake bunny. jeez...
