Um....It was a South meet....we figured that their wasnt enough room in this garage for the both of us....Not to mention that my car frightened his......so we broke it off. 8-)

i tried gettin the car outa the deal but it didnt work out. and my car has alot more bark AND bite then yours sweety, yours is nothing to be scared of.

easy, didn't try to leave hard and risk spinning the tires, didn't run it all the way up to redline to risk losing time off the limiter, didn't try to speed/power shift and risk missing one. trapped a touch below 106 bogging it off the line and shifting soft, if you don't think there is more left in the car or the driver you know a lot less about driving and racing than i was giving you credit for, which wasn't much to begin with.

how many passes, i dunno, thousands, and not just as a time shot hero like you either. gone many rounds, on many different tracks, in many different cars. :mrgreen:

My dad used to run some real fast **** and some old shool front engine dragsters and go a lot of rounds...........dont mean crap if he came to the track with us now

You can make all the excuses you want about your driving, but the fact of the matter is that your first time out in your z28 was definitely FTL. If your such a pro then you would have dropped your tire pressure before even making your first pass instead of running 40 psi in street tires and leaving the traction control on...come on Tim, that's day 1 stuff. Trust me I know that car has more in it, just not with your current driving skill.

No need to preach to me about going rounds. The only racing I did with the T/A back home was bracket racing to include a 5th place finish out of 125 street cars at Mid America Raceway in Missouri(now closed), a bi run for the best reaction time at that event, and a 2nd place finish out of 25 dragsters running 7.50-10.3. Unless all those "thousands" of passes were done in cars owned by you, then it doesn't mean squat to me.

The only recent racing you've done was done in your z28 and that bench your sitting on right now. :lol:

fact is i know what the car really runs, i know who i can beat and who i can't. if the "experts" in the cheap seats and the time shot lanes want to talk it up i am willing to play along.

mike is so proud of his car that he looks for races against V6's in his truck and rob thinks he knows anything about what i have. it all adds up to some good times for me :)

it is also winter, gotta have some fun. win or lose come spring time, we can have some laughs now.

first, i called out bolt on lt1 cars and the MODDED v6's on this site, not just any v6 cars.

second, no one cares what you know your car can run, FACT is you have a 13.7 slip. FACT is my truck has a 13.6 slip and my car has a 12.2 slip. what am i proud of or not?

and dont forget, if it werent for me your season would be getting a little later start. so untill you have a slip, your car didnt run anything no matter what you KNOW IT SHOULD DO....shut the trap
