I must agree that some terms drive me nuts when people say them, but someone mentioned transmissions being referred to a4 or m6.. that one never really got me because I use those terms all of the time.. Entertaining thread anyway

LTb1ow 02-08-2009 12:02 PM

Saying E=mc^2 is wrong.

jims69camaro 02-08-2009 03:38 PM

E=(mc * mc) ?

LTb1ow 02-08-2009 03:40 PM

Nope, E= mc^2/(1-v^2/c^2)^-.5

LTb1ow 02-08-2009 05:09 PM

Nope, thats energy. E=MC^2 is energy at rest.

Knipps 02-08-2009 06:51 PM

A wheelcover is not a hubcap.

And how does that work? In one post you say it's wrong and then in the next you state it's right. No one was debating what the E represented.

Crayface 02-08-2009 07:02 PM

E=mc Vagina

Yes, but as he pointed out in his post, he was referring to people who use the term "rear fog lights" when asking about auxiliary back up lights....

Jim, that red car is actually one of the SEMA Camaro's that has an LS7.
Since it has a "big block" it got the blacked out tail/trunk pannel.

HeadlessNorseman 02-10-2009 01:30 AM

I hate when ricers use "throttle response" to describe the sound a car makes when you rev it up in neutral after installing a cold air intake or exhaust. Or "aggressive" for body kits. Or turbo lag to describe why a car is slow at 1000 rpms. Oh and "JDM." 90% of the people who use that term have no idea what it means. Like when you put a red honda badge on your car. This my JDM accord. Also people for some reason call unmarked cop cars "undercover". That really bugs me
