92.3 Free FM: Gains and Loses
 

Well, listening on my way up to the north today, that Opie and Anthony will both be on from 6 to 9am every day. I was amped since I havent heard them since XM, and then since 102.7.
Well, that came to a hault when I listened to the Booker Show, as he was talking about how he was quiting and moving to a Philly radio station to do mornings.
WHAT THE **** 92.3!!!

K rock SUCKS after getting rid of Howard!

Al, this majorly sucks. I dont want to listen to booker in the morning. not only that, but the rest of the booker show crew isn't going with him. he's getting new people who are going to be gayer than aids. no more danni, no more nick, no more brad and no more jill. It's official, besides O&A, 92.3 is the crappiest station EVAR!!!!

i took 92.3 off my presets ages ago. now i tend to put one CD in and let it play over and over for days/weeks. lol

OH ****!! I did not know that!! So wtf is gunna go on with Danni and Jill.....and thoes other guys?? And who is gunna fill in the spot? They were such a good team.
I dont wake up early enough to even catch the tail end of O&A. At least they got rid of DRL.

I was before...I dunno if I can listen anymore. This sucks dick. My ride to the trucks will now suck 100x more.

There is no rock radio in NYC. Unbelieveable.

92.3 has rock on the weekends, does that count?

There's still Q104.3 - the Classic Rock station. By and large, it's OK, but they do tend to play a lot of the same stuff.

Check out 101.1 if you come up north by the NYC - it's a mix of everything, with NO DJ's, and NO traffic or weather reports. Just music and commercials, and the music is basically anything from the '60s through today: rock, pop, funk, disco, etc. It's insane!

And, KROCK = KRAP. Talk radio belongs on AM!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and as for rock stations, there's always 105.5 DHA or the Rat 95.9

I listen to 92.3 still...

on the weekends when I can't find the CD I want and Q104 is playing the same old crap over again...

Sure, but we can't get them up here. :( I always listen to the RAT when I'm in the central/southland.

i remember when 104.3 was rock still, before they went classic. back then we thanked god that k-rock was still around...but now... oh well...

105.5 and 104.3 are both good rock stations... and it definately sucks about 92.3 I used to listen to it all the time. Infact Booker used to get me through work it really sucked when they moved him to nights

92.3 was the only radio station i knew up here and the only one i listened to. sucks that theres no more booker show :(
