Somerville Cruise Night Friday 9/14

Anyone else interested? I think UBG is going and I plan on it.

WildBillyT 09-13-2007 01:09 PM

It's right down the road from me so I'll probably go.

BonzoHansen 09-13-2007 01:11 PM

I thought it dies after labor day?

We went the Fri before LD and it was terrible.

bad64chevelle 09-13-2007 01:12 PM

no go for me...Im heading to the show right here in New Egypt tonight if anyone is interested.

BonzoHansen 09-13-2007 01:21 PM

Jon, I have to take Matthew to soccer practice at 530 tonight at the YMCA on Sawmill Road. Is that close?

Maybe because it was Jackson that same day?

So does that mean you do not want to go again?

Untamed 09-13-2007 03:03 PM

Yeah I thought the Somerville cruise ends around Labor Day?

There were a few rainy Fridays in a row towards the end of August, which kept most of the people away.

Oh I do...next summer.

I went last Friday night, and the place was JAMMIN'! There was a Camaro with rear tires bigger then Tim's WWW ego, a few Shelby 'Stangs, a Superbird done up NASCAR style, a bunch of rat rods and street rods, and my fav, a Matador police car. I'm hoping to have my AMX road worthy tomorrow, then take a swoop down there.

Did the license plate say Adam12? If so that was there when I went, pretty cool!

I didn't notice the plate, as I just did a drive by. But I'd say the chances are pretty good that it was the same car...

WildBillyT 09-14-2007 08:03 AM

Looks like rain today...

Anti_Rice_Guy 09-14-2007 09:44 AM

I think we may have to sit this one out, but not sure yet. Weather just says cloudy until like midnight then rain. I vote wait a few hours, and reconvene.

Anti_Rice_Guy 09-14-2007 02:44 PM

soooo now that it's almost 4 o clock it's kind of getting of the hour....anyone going to try and go? We need some kinda signal to show that we're from njfboa though haha

PolarBear 09-14-2007 03:11 PM

I may go but not in an F-body

Anti_Rice_Guy 09-14-2007 03:28 PM

Well if I go I'll either be in a Ford Explorer with big red Eagle/Flag decals on the rear windows, or a black 95 camaro vert with red stripes. Neither blend in very well.

Postponed. Still looks like rain.

unstable bob gable 09-14-2007 04:40 PM

I'm playing it close to home because of the weather...

Untamed 09-14-2007 09:05 PM

Dunno if anyone went, but I drove through an intersection downtown. Didn't see any classics parked along the street - all normal commuter / shopper traffic. I did see one 70's era Pontiac Grand Prix drive into the area, probably hoping to see others as well. Looked bleak from what little I saw.

PolarBear 09-14-2007 10:32 PM

I am glad we didnt waste time going over there then. We went to Manville and watched a movie........
