Stoopid things I get axed while in the AMX

"Is that a Camaro?"-Dumb azz fat kid at Sunoco today...I physically made him count all the references to "AMX" or "Javelin" I have on the car.

"Is that street legal?" -Idiot at 7-11. No man, I just busted outa the pen, stole the car from a racing team, and I'm grabbing a Slurpee before making my escape to Mexico.

"Do you race at Englishtown?" -Many dumb dumbs. Yep, with 245/40/18 front tires, and 295/35/18 rear tires, and a paint scheme that pays homage to the AMC Trans Am teams, I def look set up for the drags...NOT!!!

"Is the roll cage real?"-Moron at the Somerville cruise night. Nah, the roll cage is made out cardboard tubing, with padding added for realism.

"Is that a Mustang?" See "Is that a Camaro?" above.

"Who made American Motors' cars?"-Weenie at Burger King. I dunno...maybe American Motors made American Motors' cars?

"What engine is in it? A 360? Oh, it has a Dodge engine!" -Many boneheads. Yeah, I have a Dodge 360, The 390 powered AMCs have Ford engines, and the 401 powered AMCs have Buick engines.

"Wow, you have Nawzzzz?"- F&F watching foos. Yeah, I used to have Nitrous, but I got rid of it for Nawzzzz.

Un-f'n-believable.

so throw a big ass turbo on it and call it "stock"

Blackbirdws6 06-08-2008 07:57 AM

you know people are idiots....but throw in the mix a very unique car and what do you expect?

Do you think ricers and the like are reading up about old AMC's when they have nothing to do? Nawww they are reading the latest import tuner mag and salivating about the intake test that gained 3rwhp and lost a little tq for $400.

Once more, from the top..."CAMARO" is spelled C-A-M-A-R-O. "Camaro" is spelled C-A-M-E-R-O. Similar, but different. Just like "where" and "wear," "steel" and "steal," "mike and "mic," etc. etc. etc. etc...

And if you still don't get it, here are some visual references:

Here's a Camaro tool box:

Here's a 67 Camaro diecast:

i am also surrounded by ricers, if any of you want to ruin them, they meet at the dunkin' donuts near 6 flags every Friday at 8 or 9 o' clock. i laugh at them as they pretend to be the fast and the furious down the road getting beat by minivans.

It's a Mustang, not a Javiline.

I've never heard of a "Javiline." But I have heard of a "Javlin."

Here are some examples:

Javlin slot car:

Javlin turn signal cam:

And let us not forget my classic poem "Camaro:"

Camaro! Camaro!
My favorite pony car
Camaro! Camaro!
You will always be a star!

Camaro! Camaro!
Ricers always eat your dust.
Camaro! Camaro!
As pretty as a nice, big, bust!

Camaro! Camaro!
You always rule the street!
Camaro! Camaro!
Your legend can't be beat!

Camaro! Camaro!
You were gone, but you're coming back.
Camaro Camaro!
Soon you'll be ready for the attack!

Camaro! Camaro!
I spell your name with an "E."
Camaro! Camaro!
Whoever doesn't like it, CAN BITE ME!!!
