someone who's a complete lunatic. the same person that would list it for 13k. over 100k miles, salvage title AND 11 years old? no thanks.

The Fixer 07-18-2008 09:45 AM

Not with a salvage title and over 100K miles! No offense to the seller, but he can keep dreaming.

ar0ck 07-18-2008 09:47 AM

Not to mention its just a 30th Anniversary Z28.

I asked him about the missing ss stuff...this was his response.

"Value is Current NADA for a camaro SS. The wheels are correct for the T-Top Version. Not all SS's from what I can determine had the 17" SS type wheels. This is detailed in the SS owners manual. Also, that is the correct spoiler for for t-top camaro."

No it isn't. That's assuming a clean title. This title is not clean. Oh well, the true price will come out I guess.

Somebody call this guy and tell him his wheels are wrong:

I consider this one just as bad even though it does have a lot of custom stuff done to it. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1969-...ayphotohosting
$47.5K for a car with a rebuilt title.

BigAls87Z28 07-18-2008 10:19 AM

Ahahahahaha...oh man, it gets better and better.

Yep, and the seller is pretty good at beating around the bush about it. I think most of the bidders didn't even realize is because who in their right mind would pay 40+ thousand dollars for a car with a branded title?

Stevoone 07-18-2008 02:15 PM

Bored at work so I took a look at the Vin, the car has an N96 wheel code for 16" aluminum wheels.

I had 2 eBay Cadillac's come through the shop last year. All I need to say about them is that it's surprising what some people will buy.

sweetbmxrider 07-18-2008 03:04 PM

wow...just wow

Frosty 07-18-2008 05:27 PM

He's on crack...and lots of it.

DaSkinnyGuy 07-18-2008 08:35 PM

SteveR 07-18-2008 11:13 PM

lol 13k for a car you cant drive anywhere but on a race track. he = crack head

Lt1_8U 07-19-2008 12:36 AM

well atleast the first camaro has really nice seat covers:wink:

band77one 07-19-2008 07:35 AM

i like the 69/02 camaro. but thats just me i guess lol

Stevoone 07-19-2008 10:06 AM

When I ran the VIN for the car it does have the Z28 vin codes along with the other options to support it. I don't know much about the Camaro RPO codes tho. Would Z28 indicate an SS or is there another RPO for the SS package?

I like both of them but the price's are a little high. I think the title status would scare me away even if they were asking a reasonable amount for them.

98+ had wu8 rpo code to designate ss option, don't know about lt1s though.

the people stupid enough to bid on that bid on 25% and 33% of his items in the last 30 days. Gotta love people with multiple ebay names jacking up their own items with fake bids.

Stevoone 07-19-2008 01:51 PM

Don't see anything in the Vin that indicates an SS. It does have all the Z28 codes tho. I usually run Pontiac Vins so I'm not too sure about the Camaro RPO's.

NastyEllEssWon 07-19-2008 04:36 PM

the 69/02 is a restomod. since they hacked up the car it automatically gets a rebuild/salvage title. ive seen those restomods in some of the classic car mags.
i would love to own one. comforts of the new cars, looks of the older one. that is on the cheaper end of the restomod prices. some go for up to 100k.
