Got a set of 5 spokers on my car to replace the snowflakes. I put some 255/50*/16 M/T ET streets in the rear too. Tell me what you think.

Jersyboyy 11-05-2008 06:03 PM

Im certain the springs were replaced with lift springs by the last owner.
Im broke anyone wanna donate a set of stock fornt springs for a thirdgen?

On another note what do you guys think they would look like flat black? Anyone wanna photochop it for me?

ar0ck 11-05-2008 07:07 PM

Flat black wheels just like dirty wheels. i wouldn't do it.

usp55 11-05-2008 07:10 PM

I attempted to highlight the raised parts of the rim that would look lighter...just didn't look right and i dont have the time to give it more detail so i got rid of the highlights, but u get the idea

SamhainZ28 11-05-2008 07:23 PM

i have stock fronts from a third gen you can have

Jersyboyy 11-05-2008 07:24 PM

Thanks ill def stick with it as is untill I can afford paint and some nice 18/19s.

BigAls87Z28 11-05-2008 07:46 PM

255/60-16? Thats a big ass tire!! Should be a 255/50-16 at the most. They sure dont look like a it has a sidewall that big.

Jersyboyy 11-05-2008 07:55 PM

Al is correct 255/50/16. Even tho he didnt give his OPINION ON THE WHEELS

TheBandit 11-05-2008 08:22 PM

Change those springs dude.. i saw your car at nonna rosa's coming home from school and the front is damn high.. wheels def look better than the old ones.

Jersyboyy 11-05-2008 08:30 PM

Nice.. im actually looking at a deal to get rid of my car for an 85 maro with a fresh 355  hopefully it happens

BigAls87Z28 11-05-2008 10:11 PM

Wheels look good. Buuuuuuuuuuuut yeah, 4x4 ride hight needs to go.

madness410 11-05-2008 10:55 PM

looks good...better than the snowflakes. i think if u paint them flat black it would give them a weird look. i can see them colored orange or red though. but that would severly hurt the resell value

madness410 11-05-2008 11:36 PM

..wow reading my comment from before...dont do the orange or red

Jersyboyy 11-06-2008 02:20 PM

Hhahahhha at least you corrected yourself before I opened a can.

sweetbmxrider 11-06-2008 03:26 PM

maybe do a dark gun metal gray? i bet the front all jacked up helps transfer the weight harder for dragging.

GP99GT 11-06-2008 03:47 PM

since that first photoshop made me want to throw up, i did a better one.

flat black/gunmetal wheels, lowered, front end leveled out.
