Hey eric I think I ordered mine from the same company. You know for only $50 you could send them the paint code and have it painted already. I'll look up the company I ordered mine from in a sec and get back to you. It's really a great deal for $220 shipped to the door ready to bolt on and mine has the led SLP brake light which is sweet.

emolineaux 01-19-2009 07:16 PM

hey vinnie its all good i have a state trooper friend that has my ultra z hood getting ready for paint, so im going to have him do my wing to. and were taking care of a dent in my quarter because someone backing into me.

NJ346 01-19-2009 07:17 PM

Sounds good.

emolineaux 01-19-2009 07:20 PM

hey vinnie did you have to wire in a relay on your ss wing wiring? i had to on my 93 because the led was throwing the abs light on

nope, I simply spliced into the brake light wire with the supplied wiring and a few connectors. Never had a problem with it.

One thing you may wanna take a look at is when you install it there will be this like 1/4" thick foam on the bottom of the spoiler, I ripped this off because the spoiler wasn't lining up right with the body of the car. Other than that the spoiler looks great. Here's a pick of it after I installed it. This was taken before I removed the foam padding I was talking about and you can see how it wasn't lining up perfect.

ok i had to install an inline relay because on my 93 it was setting off my abs light. the wiring might be different with the 98+ f bodys

usp55 01-21-2009 05:38 PM

nice pickup, the SS wing changes the look of the entire car. and if u got it from the same place NJNETFAN and I got it from its a nice quality spoiler.

How did u wire the relay because my light on my dash it on and i haven't done anything about it but would like to.

maroman88 01-21-2009 06:07 PM

i bought my ebay one pre painted, looked awesome

sweetbmxrider 01-21-2009 06:14 PM

you need a resistor wired in because the led's draw less than stock incandescent bulbs. don't know the amount of resistance needed though.

yea i know i need it because of the LED's just never knew exactly how to wire it

sweetbmxrider 01-21-2009 06:44 PM

if i knew how much the stock bulbs draw, i could figure it out with this

Ls1 spoiler should do it on the ebay search...Cant access it here at work its blocked.

ar0ck 01-22-2009 02:08 PM

www.spoilerdepot.com also sells them at a similar price. I purchased one from a member here on the forums which I think came from one of those companies and I had to do a lot of work to the bottom where it matches to the body. It didn't even come close to fitting on my 95 and it still needs work to sit flush.

Similar price on the product, the only differance is the ebay site is free shipping...which is a huge differance.
