Creatine.

Opinions. Brands. Personal gains?

Crayface 02-06-2009 03:11 PM

creatine gives your muscle more energy, for example instead of doing sets of 5, on creatine u could do sets of 8, its just like putting a bigger gas tank in your car, u will last longer. Drink plenty of water because u can dehydrate easily. overall its good for most ppl, some ppl dont get effected much by it

LTb1ow 02-06-2009 03:13 PM

Got any good brands you like or ones to stay away from?

WildBillyT 02-06-2009 03:31 PM

Cell-Tech is overpriced, very high in dextrose, overpriced, gave me anxiety attacks, and it's overpriced.

I use Met-Rx's Extreme Creatine blast. $40-50 for five pounds. A big part of that price is purity. 5g pre workout, 5g post workout, no dose on non-workout days. Worked good for me. For the most part, unless you have exhausted ALL other options for making gains I'd stick with a straight powder and not some expensive stack that has stimulants and other **** in it.

FIcamaroRE92 02-06-2009 03:34 PM

superpump 250 or universal lava seems to work good for me, and no stomach problems like in all of the online reviews.
Its more of an NO booster but it does have creatine in it

LTb1ow 02-06-2009 05:00 PM

I have been using Superpump, I just go to a off period and I wanna try some creatine.

Superpump 250 has creatine in it... I am guessing you knew that???

LTb1ow 02-06-2009 07:20 PM

Yea I know that, but I want to go to a more heavy dose and not pay the 50 bucks now for superpump.

97slpss 02-06-2009 07:57 PM

I HATE superDUMP...you may be able to guess why, i like Green Magnitude by controlled labs..stack it with White Flood for some nasty pumps

Helps ya poop :)

I had used some either twin-labs or muscle tech creatine monohydrate powder (dosage was 1-2 teaspoons mornings). I was doing 3-5 tablespoons, taking TONS of water, sometimes a dose in my water I was drinking at the gym, and sometimes a dose before bed.

Way too much. That crap gave me MAD headaches.....but I will say the 'overuse' helped me surpass my friends I worked out with quite a bit and I was a lil 'behind' them when we first started out.

DEFINATLY it will help you....just be careful with it. That's all. And I'd follow what Bill said.

I think he said overpriced.

Yeah, if that happens you need to make sure you get your gallon of water each day, and if you still have gastro problems back off dosing bit by bit.

LTb1ow 02-06-2009 10:07 PM

I am back off to two scoops of superpump, extended my workout and it seems to have helped. But I just wanna try someything that doesn't race my heart off to the moon.

TaKid455 02-07-2009 08:27 PM

'roids?

I did creatine a while back. while I had good results when I was on the cycle, one I went off, I lost my volume. seemed that while it did allow you to do more reps, it added water weight. It was hard to get 'cut' while on creatine. I used it for sorts so looking pretty didn't concern me.

LTb1ow 02-07-2009 08:30 PM

I am not really concerned with being cut, I like being bulky.

x2 I can care less for being cut.

Crayface 02-08-2009 01:16 AM

im not going to lie, i love superpump, but it also can be called superdump. I mean jesus christ some days im on the dumper for three times, but its all worth it cuz superpump works good for me

LTb1ow 02-08-2009 09:32 AM

Well you need to follow the directions. I usually eat at 8, which is normally three eggs scrambled, and then I don't lift till 10:30 or 11. Never had a problem.

MonmouthCtyAntz 02-08-2009 02:21 PM

Gaspari stuff is pricey but good. ON is good and very fairly priced

LTb1ow 02-08-2009 02:22 PM

I got a new thing of super pump for 35 :)

Hurray for rebates!
