yea, the hood is kinda ricer...but I can't do anything about it because there are holes drilled in the hood to make them functional. And yes, that's a heater under the dash. The heater core is shot so one of the previous owners by-passed it and put the electric heater in the truck...works pretty good :).

The truck was bought as a project and I will continue to work on it until I'm happy with it. When I got it it was very unreliable(had a stalling problem) and I had to use AAA twice in a matter of 4 days after getting the truck.

Things left to do to the truck:
Get it inspected
fix the heater core
Get the speedo calibrated for the gears
Get DR's and take it to the track:twisted:

no, the nitrous kit is "for sale" even though I'm not eager to sell it. It's an efi kit that can be put on the camaro if I really wanted to, but the mom says as long as I live under her roof, there will be no nitrous in either cars.(Might have something to do with my dad losing his camaro back in the 80's due to a nitrous back-fire:rofl:) Anyway, I just put the stock/non performance computer back in the truck and it still lights up those 235's without a problem. This truck should run side by side with a mild lt18-). it will make it to the track within the next month.

Thanks. I plan on doing little odds and ends to make it a really nice truck, and then I'll probably sell it to fund something big for the camaro:nod:

lol, I did that to mess with Matt and Adam. Let's see how long it takes for this thread to go down the drain..... If I decide to get serious with this truck, I'll have it tick off a 13.99 before the end of the year.

I'm sure it could tow the camaro, but there is no hitch on it, and the truck is lowered so it'd be more of a pain than anything.

LTb1ow 03-21-2009 04:57 PM

Yea but then you could be all cool and have a "real" car.... lol

I'd be selling the kit as a whole. I don't want any parts laying around. I've had some1 interested in the bottle, but I really don't want to part it out. PM me what your interested in. It's not making me any money sitting in my garage, and I could use the money to do stuff to the dakota.

sweetbmxrider 03-21-2009 06:36 PM

i don't race, i don't even drive :-P

hmmm...didn't even know it was listed on craigslist. I have to make a trip to the junk yard within a few weeks because it's missing 1 molding, I'll have to see if they have any black hoods that I could pick up for cheap.
