GP99GT 08-03-2009 05:38 AM

phantoms 08-03-2009 05:47 AM

mIRC

Blackbirdws6 08-03-2009 12:46 PM

torrent ftw and yes you can choose which files you want before DLing. Of course, this is all hearsay and in no way have I done this personally.

Knipps 08-03-2009 12:54 PM

torrents are legal. it's the contents which may or not be legal

FlyingDutchman 08-03-2009 02:50 PM

100% correct.

Masonite 08-03-2009 05:20 PM

Frostwire + Peerguardian

Kojak 08-03-2009 10:31 PM

utorrent with peerguardian

I've never had a problem but I don't think it protects much or at all against viruses.

Savage_Messiah 08-04-2009 12:19 AM

what is this peerguardian you all speak of?

BobonaStick 08-04-2009 01:32 AM

peerguardian i believe is a program that runs with your torrent program to either block or scramble your ip address so its harded for the feds to find you

EODMonkey 08-04-2009 11:08 AM

buy a mac

Masonite 08-04-2009 11:29 AM

peer guardian takes known spyware, education, government, etc. IP addresses and blocks your computer from connecting to them during P2P download sessions. basically, disallows big brother from watching what you download, because you'll have never downloaded anything straight from them.

Savage_Messiah 08-05-2009 12:45 AM

... and I run into my first problem with vista...
