Snow guesses for this weekend's storm?

Right now it looks like we might be getting over a foot of snow! I'm going conservative with 18"! And I need to get a snowblower some time soon, I don't enjoy the shoveling like I used to.

Yup, I bet maybe some flurries, and a lot of rain/ice.

Here's the current model showing precip amounts in inches of rain. Translate that to snow and Wow!

Lt1_8U 12-17-2009 04:20 PM

deadtrend1 12-17-2009 04:25 PM

i hope we get something significant. I'm itching to test the jeep out

BigRocsFirebird 12-17-2009 04:26 PM

Ahhhhh i don't like the snow anymore. when i was younger i loved it but now it stinks!

Anti_Rice_Guy 12-17-2009 04:32 PM

What weather are you people looking at? I see possible snow showers Sunday, which has nothing to do with Saturday's meet. And that's for out in NW Jersey in the boonies on a mountain!

Same. There's a chance of snow showers Sat Night into Sunday morning. 30% at that.

BonzoHansen 12-17-2009 04:41 PM

Jeff's knee probably predicts snow because his hurts

GP99GT 12-17-2009 04:42 PM

yeah im in the same boat...forecast doesnt say much. i hope not cause was planning on going to a house party saturday night and doing it live

cdacda13 12-17-2009 04:43 PM

I'm hoping like hell it doesn't snow down here. Then the apartment's parking lot gets close for plowing and I have to find parking on the street. Huge pain in the ass.

BonzoHansen 12-17-2009 04:45 PM

Uh-oh. Hurricane Schwartz says snow

http://www.nbcphiladelphia.com/news/...-79559562.html

"We're talking about very high accumulations, especially for December," NBC Philadelphia chief meteorologist Glenn "Hurricane" Schwartz said.

sweetbmxrider 12-17-2009 04:47 PM

yeah i doubt we even get a dusting. still, i'll start waxing the sleds and boards :)

FlyingDutchman 12-17-2009 05:53 PM

im only seeing about an inch by my house sat. night

NJ346 12-17-2009 06:18 PM

i'm guessing maybe 4 inches of heavy slushy snow here on the coast.

BonzoHansen 12-17-2009 06:23 PM

OK, brought the snow blower in, and it runs fine. So no snow!
