I love the sticker on the dash. No explanation there. Im glad they will offer an auto, should really expand sales.

Still dont understand why z28>SS as far as performance to nameplates goes.

Z28 always was better.
SLP ****ed that up. Z28 was the race car, SS was the high end luxury trim. Thats the end of that convo.

anything can be a SS, but it takes a camaro to be a z28

Yeah, I totally agree with the auto comment....it will definitely appeal to a broader spectrum of buyers. Plus, GM obviously had to beef up that A6 trans so maybe some of that knowledge can trickle down to the other A6's.

Aside from the quad exhaust, it really doesnt do much for me. Maybe some standard photos will change that

only in the 4th gen but even then its just a wheel and hood package.

The front facia has some major enhancements you can make out along with some other stuff
1) Fog lights are raised and there are brake cooling ducts under them.
2) much larger lower grill opening for enhanced cooling to the rad/intercooler
3) larger front brake rotors and calipers
4) quad exhaust

This is a powertrain mule. 2012 will also be getting a few more visual enhancements along with a new interior. And a convertable model.
the 6L80E is pretty strong, same one in the CTS-V auto.

IMO, hopefully they've tackled the weight issue in this one, otherwise its pointless.

especially when they got a decal on the side of the door.

We will be lucky if it comes in at the same weight as the SS.

z28s were just as fast as ss's honestly.

Meh - while it will still make more hp and tq than the challenger.... I still prefer the challenger
