I need to lay off the forums and cars.

So at work I have access to unlimited printing, and the internet. So I was searching yahoo or whatever and came across this awsome huge picture of an LS1 motor. So I printed an 8x10 of it, to put on my wall for my holy shrine to F-bodies.

I bring it home and lay it on the kitchen table, and as my dad is leaving to pick up my sister he goes... "why did you print this?" I said "Dad... its gods motor!" He replys "Get off those stupid forums and think about something else besides cars..."

I just walked away holding gods motor.

hahah nice!!

Although, I hate to tell you, God's motor hasnt been released to the public yet.. LS7 engine, 7.0, 427 cid, which is presumed to be in the new Z07. 8)

500 hp, 475 ft.lbs in a car that weighs 3100 lbs.

Oh yea, the LS1 isnt bad either ;)

but think of it this way. God was the beginning and so is the LS1. Coincidense(sp?)? I think not!

my dad went to the track once.....and said "get the f*** out im drivin, you suck"

then i stoped inviting him

SpeakersGoBoom 12-05-2004 10:35 PM

just to be clear...
what exactly is the opti? is it the optispark? and are people serious when they say it, or sarcastic?

SpeakersGoBoom 12-05-2004 10:36 PM

and honestly, i kinda have to agree with your dad a little. lay off cars a little, spend that time finding a girl who has some interest in cars, and then, once you find her, spend the time showing the girl how to work on cars, thereby strenghening your relationship, as well as actually working on your car.

tried that, and it not only failed, it backfired. IMO, unless teh girl is already into cars and has a car herself and loves cars as much as you do. dont do this.
