I still own the car, It was uninsured at the time and home owners insurance didn't cover it. I have big plans for the drivetrain in the future...

Oh reeeally?

Alex, this car was one of my favorite LT1 Camaros, as I've told you a few times before. I'm sure the Trans Am you're about to build will be equally impressive.

R.I.P. Camaro

Can't wait to see a finished product! That hood was my all time favorite for any LT1 Camaro!

Thanks Mike for the compliments, it was a good run. Expect a build thread for the Trans Am shortly. The motors are getting swapped this weekend and it should be on the road by the time I'm home from this deployment!

Blackbirdws6 12-22-2012 05:11 AM

What a shame but the new project will be nice.

donnj 12-22-2012 06:22 AM

the hood has been fixed and its now in primer, altho this go round its going on a LS powered car. I always hated my catfish/sebring looking front end. With some small mods made it does clear the SLP lid...

The_Bishop 12-22-2012 06:41 AM

That car, and Ar0ck, are why I'm part of NJFBOA.

So blame him. :)
