MSD custom kit, only way to avoid burning wires is an OVTC kit.

use these to route your wires..

I have had good luck with Taylors in the past, and currently using 8.5mm MSDs.
DEI heat boots can be a good friend too. |

taylors yes yes yes,,,, i got them on mine. they are the 10.4mm pro race wires
|
i think 10.4 would be just a wee bit of overkill for this application ....
|
no such thing as overkill, they are only like $10 more than the 8's and they have a higher temp resistance, oil, etc... lower the resistance better spark, those sbc's need every 10th/h.p. they can get anyway.
hey, they'll look friggin sweet on there too!!! |
check these out their new http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ACC-9001C/ I've personally never used accel. However these look interesting.

MSD 8.5
Good wires, never burnt a single one yet... and my OTVC kit is a tad bit bad. |

they are nice wires, but the hard shell boots might be an issue. sometimes you have to bend the plug wire a lil bit for clearance with header, |

I have run Taylor and MSD and I like both.
