I Propose

V6 classes, I mean theres enough members with V6 F-Bodies and quite a few race. we could have them classed by stock engine or modified. Just an idea.

i believe they did v6 classes at the other f-bod nats...i maintain that it's a stupid idea

bubba428 04-19-2007 07:59 AM

Thanks for your OPINION wasn't really asking you. I'm more or less putting the idea out there to the V6 guys cause maybe if enough of them want we could have a decent showing.

Tru2Chevy 04-19-2007 08:01 AM

We've tried the v6 bracket classes before, and they were quite poorly attended. There aren't enough fast v6 cars to warrant a v6 specific heads up class, and in bracket racing it doesn't matter if you're going up against a v8 car....

I meant two heads up classes, stock and modified, just to keep it simple.

ahhhh i see...

if you are interested in V6 vs V6 racing there is some discussion on www.FullThrottleV6.com about doing an FTV6 Clash style event in the northeast.
unfortunately we don't have the resources to attract enough V6 specific sponsors and cars to make the classes worht while. maybe in a few years we can try something, but for now it is unrealistic.

Savage_Messiah 04-25-2007 01:06 PM

Bubba... we can run heads up.

GrandmasterCow 04-25-2007 01:24 PM

if u want another v6, ill get my buddy with the turbo v6 to maybe attend, hes got a 650rwhp 99 v6 camaro

Tru2Chevy 04-25-2007 01:27 PM

You shouldn't even have to ask that.....get everyone you possibly can to attend.

The more people who show up and participate, the more attractive the event is to potential sponsors, the more prizes and awards we can give away.
