T-Tops
K&N cold air intake
original red paint has seen better days
grey interior, seats need to be replaced
B&M shifter
it is a 1993 so it is completely exempt from NJ state inspection.

it could use fresh fluids, suspension/steering system greased, and a half-day polishing session

$4,000 price tag

I am selling this for my brother. Even though he loves this car, his being in the Marines for the last 10 years and having a family with young children has caused his time/energy to be elsewhere. It has spent a bunch of time sitting over those years during his training and deployments abroad, but when he was home he would drive it often. The past 4 years it has lived in an enclosed garage in Summit, NJ up until this week when I fired it up and drove it to my house 30 mins away. Runs quite well. Needs some road time and a grease job/fluid change etc.

PM me here, but better would be to send me an email titled "Trans Am for sale" etc so it doesn't go to spam email. email: martin.dave3@gmail.com

I like it how much are you asking.

IROCZman15 07-30-2018 12:49 PM

first post updated. car is officially for sale as per my brothers request.

V 07-30-2018 04:32 PM

Price is decent. Btw trans should be a 4l60. The e got added for 1994. 93 is basically still a 700r4. I also see a gauge in dash and aftermarket air intake. Specs on those?

LS1ow 07-30-2018 04:37 PM

Looks like a Trans temp gauge & a K&N Cold Air

GLWS

correct. both of you guys correct. Yes, he put a trans temp gauge in the dash vent. and the intake is your basic K&N CAI setup.

also, it needs a headlight motor for the pass side headlight

I fixed the Trans to a 4L60 my mistake!

This sucker sell yet? Seems fairly priced.

IROCZman15 08-12-2018 08:41 PM

a bunch of people were initially interested, but nobody has actually shown up. one guy from buffalo intends to leave a deposit this week and come on down with a trailer. he seems legit and we have had about two dozen emails back and forth about the cars details. my brother said he will go as low as $3,500 for someone who is an fbody enthusiast and who will intend to treat the car well.

IROCZman15 09-10-2018 07:12 PM

BUMP

Still for sale. Price drop to $3,700

runs and drives just fine. I have the signed title in hand so it is ready to sell.

IROCZman15 09-27-2018 08:59 AM

ah damn! well thanks for thinking of me man!

THE CAR WAS JUST SOLD TONIGHT, as in 3 hours ago. The buyer is a cool dude in his early 20's who had a V6 1997 firebird for a few years but always wanted a V8. he came to look at he car last week and was really happy with it. We made arrangements for me to hold the car for him for a bit while he sold his V6 (which happened a few days ago)

So just a few hours ago he came by and we finalized the sale. Signed the title, put his plates on it, and topped off some fluids. We think it is developing a leaking head-gasket since it is eating coolant slowly. My brother and I decided to knock down the price a little bit so that the buyer could easily afford to do the head-gasket project. He already ordered a Fel-Pro gasket set prior to taking ownership of it. ARP headbolts are on order too.

As he left I decided to follow him for a bit in my camaro since I felt like driving. Did a few dozen miles and all seemed ok so i peeled off and headed for home... while using the remaining N2O in my nitrous tank. Loving the 150 shot recently.. a little too much!

The buyer of the car is a down to earth enthusiast. He lives on Staten Island and already has a ram-air hood for the car as well as honeycomb tail lights. He wants to do some LED conversions so I told him I would send him Brian's BLS's info for future use. I am confident that the owner will get eh car back to street duty very soon. I warned him about going easy on it with the Nitto 555R drag radials in rain or snow. My brotehr and I weren't overly concerned abot teh money; we really just wanted the car to go to a good home where it will be used and enjoyed, as it was before he got busy with the marine Corps, kids, and life. Keep an eye out for it aroudn the area too, he works around the Woodbridge, perth Amboy, Freehold areas I think

So I thought it would be pretty cool to update this. The car was sold to the guy I mentioned above. He had a shop he know tear the engine half down and replace the blown head gasket. He bought a ram air hood and fixed some of the other issues like headlight motor, dashboard issues and so forth. He was daily driving the car until July 2019 when he just needed a pickup truck for work. He ended up selling it to a guy in the Cherry Hill NJ area who went wild with the car. Within 3 days of buying it, the guy painted it. He then put a LT4 cam and heads on it. big tach, a-pillar gauges, flip out tv, corvette C6 wheels (black and red), msd ignition stuff, redid the cracked seats, a tune, shift kit etc. He drives it around the chrry hill area and will be at the Wildwood car weekend and Ocean City MD weekend also. maybe some of you south jersey guys will see it around. if so, snap a photo for me.

here are some of the photos the guy sent to me
