November 2013 Meet - Mon 11/4 - 3rd Annual Race Wars - Atco NJ Track Rental
 

This will be the official thread for the rental event. The specific details are provided below. The current paid list of attendees are included. We have a few spots open but this is very limited. Any major changes or notices will be maintained in this original post.

This will also be the November monthly NJFBOA meet. If you have not paid to race and are not on the "Racer List" list below, you are free to come hang out and watch. But you will not be racing that day.

General Details:

Date/Time: MONDAY, NOVEMBER 4TH, 9:30AM - 4:30PM
Location: Atco Raceway 1000 Jackson Road, Atco, NJ

Food: Food will be provided (sandwiches, drinks, chips, etc) for $10 per person, $5 per person for power members. Please note if you would like to participate.

Trophies: We will have a handful or so trophies to give out. The trophy categories will be disclosed at the rental.

Photo/Video: A number of generous members will be bringing their photo and video equipment. We will do our best to coordinate and capture the event however it will be up to the racer to speak with those shooting/filming if they would like footage of their vehicle.

Racers Information:

• Rental starts at 9:30AM and ends at 4:30PM
• $20 non-refundable per person/car deposit required
• $180 balance due at the rental per person/car
• Proper safety gear required
• If the weather is poor, the rental will be rescheduled
• Drag tires required - DR's, ET streets, slicks

Spectating, and food

Tow duty and food, maybe some racing

Just curious as I am a bit picky, could you expand in greater detail on the food? I'm not trying to give anyone a hard time, just bein me.

Think subs were mentioned?

Bonzo has taken the lead with food but I will ask for details unless he wants to chime in. A sub tray was mentioned but I do know from where and of what variety.

To spectate or to race?

Yes

This meet requires a financial obligation well in advance of the meet itself. It isn't a normal track day, it is a private rental. We are always willing to have another car in the mix.

I was going to get a sub tray, probably from Primo, chips, drinks. Not written in stone yet.

Hmm ok, I'll see what other options I have but I do like the idea.

I am a maybe. have jury duty that week, will find out on the first if i have to go in Monday. I have already taken off from work and will be spectator and lunch. Hopefully.
