North Jersey Meet?
 

So im a newer/returning member, Im from sussex and I would like to host a meet, Everyone is welcome but I figure only the north jersey crew would be down for it. I am a member of the sussex elks and they have a good size parking lot for this to happen, Also a bar(over 21 obv) and a pool table. Am I allowed to do this? Also when would be good for people?

Think a camaro club has a meet at the sonic on 46e on tuesday nights...a little far from you but worth checking out to see if there people that attend are closer to your. I'd be down for a few meets if you get the ball rollling but to my knowledge, there isn't many members in our neck of the woods let alone running f/bodies.

Ok, Seems like more and more people are interested. So we just need the attention to get out to more of the north jersey crew.

Best bet is to decide on a venue, time, place and post it up. Worse thing to do is suggest, then the thread will just get cluttered w/opinions. If you have a few guys up by you that are already committed that is all you need to get started...just make it the same time each month/week/etc to avoid confusion...and post pics up. I'll try and make the 1st one if it doesn't conflict w/work.

I'd be down pending I'm free that day. Anything within 30 minutes of Stillwater I'll probably bring my S10 though.

myself with my 84 under construction and the GTA you saw the other day in Andover.

I know there are more people than it seems. Not everyone is a meet kind of person. But that should give you an idea of how many of us are nearby. Not everyone has running cars though, I know a member who has a fleet of third gens, but only a couple run. He is not a fan of meets though he may show. Anyway if you can get a bunch of us together there are enough members around that it could be sustained. Just remember, for those coming from areas towards the city, traffic will be a real bitch during week days coming up this way during rush hour. I will probably be at the Chatterbox the remaining Saturday cruise nights (weather pending), if you want to discuss ideas further.

For the record, I have a '98 Z28 in Bright Purple Metallic. :)

I used to go to local gatherings, now i just seem to accidentally forget about them.

lol noted will watch for that one. I was just showing that there are more of us than it seems in North Jersey. We just hide like hermits compiling lists and parts for our never ending builds.....:lol:

I don't know if I'll be able to attend any meets in an f-body. My lt1 is up for sale and has a few people interested and I don't think I'm putting my 69 on the road this year.

Yea this friday as tomorrow night, However since I'm in north eastern bergen county, nothing is really close.

I'm in Warren County and own a '68 RS/SS and would be down to a meet if it was close enough to my house. Let me know when and where and I'll try to make it.

Can't do tomorrow but supposed to be rainy anyhow.

You're just going to have to wait until I at least finish my '69's exterior! Would be very cool to roll up with another 1st gen.

i just moved up to Roxbury Nj .. right off rt 46 and rt 10. also by rt 80. so im up towards that area where you are alll talking about meetin up. depending on my work schedules. ill try to make some of the meets.
