bacspacing for 3rd gen wheels? like the 89 RS wheels?

what is the backspacing on a 3rd gen wheel? like a 89 RS?

Because the 9inch rear that i have is like 2 inches shorter on each side than my 4th gen 10bolt, and has drum brakes (for now) and i wanna go with 15x 10 weld prostars but i just need to know backspacing!! the RS wheels work fine as far as spacing goes, i just want something a lil wider so i can get traction again!!

thank you

I think it's a hair over 5", but why don't you just take a wheel off and get the tape measure out? Flip the rim over, and measure on the back side from where the wheel bolts to the brakes, to the outer edge of the rim (not all the way out to the edge of the tire). That's the rim backspacing measurement.

Since a 15x10" 7.5" BS Weld Pro-Star fits a 4th Gen with a stock rear axle width perfectly, you would just decrease the backspace by 2" to 5.5" BS.
