I'm so excited

I just ordered some Armor coated Pacesetters w/ the ORY! :w00t: As soon as they get here i'm gonna bolt them up. I'm also removing the EGR and AIR systems. :fluffy: Then i'm gonna head over to TTPerformance. They're doing a full dyno tune for $250. Hopefully this is what i need to break into the 12's

heres my pacesetter install how to http://web.ics.purdue.edu/~kanwisch/...8Camaropg4.htm

I agree. Go with Bill's ^^^^^ Install, very straight forward. And yes, that will most likely break you into the 12's, unless u suck at the driver mod.

one piece of advice.....

do your plugs while the manifolds are off

foff667 07-05-2006 06:07 PM

and just reuse your stock gaskets...and get extensions or vette o2's & no extension for your 02's do not use the wire & try to be cheap about splicing it...it never ends well.

Mike's right. Go with NGK TR55's, and get some poly motor mounts. Saves the hassle later. Trust me, I'll learn from experience

 Reuse the stock gaskets? It came with some paper ones. I know metal ones are better but you really aren't supposed to reuse gaskets ever are you?

The kit came with o2 extensions but the kind you have to splice. Is there direct plug extensions?

enRo 07-05-2006 09:55 PM

DONT USE THE PAPER ONES... they are really really bad... and yes u can reuse the stock gaskets, and if u find any kind of leak, buy another set of metal gaskets and double up with the stockers.. and summit sells 02 extensions u dont need to splice, and thats the better route. Get 2 at 24" .

Mike 07-05-2006 11:12 PM

DONT BUY EXTENTIONS YET

i think i have an extra set, pm me and if i do still have em you can have em for the price of shipping.....

if you have the extra $30 or so bucks for new stock metal ones feel free...I reused my stockers...everyone has issues with the paper ones...I still have them sitting in my room up here
