Any ideas guys ?
I come to you guys for some answers/help.
I’ve ran out of space in the shed in my driveway. With winter ending(I hope) and a new project headed into my garage after my car is out, i have no place to put my snowblower. After analyzing what is in the shed, I’ve determined what has to go. Those of you that met him, know my dad was a bit of a horder/loon/mad scientist in his final years. Thus, why I have 3 propane and 1 carbon tank that are about 4.5/5ft tall. I have no use for them. No one I know has use for them. I’m not sure what he planned to use them for. All I know is they take up the perfect amount of space for my blower, so they gotta go. But how the hell do I get rid of them? Does anyone have any use for them? |
Those propane tanks are good for someone with a detached garage that wants to put a hanging heater in. Propane conversions are very common with those heaters. Maybe sell them on CL or give them away as scrap metal.

In my town you can drop them off at the DPW and they will dispose of them properly. Maybe make a call and see if they will take them, or a place like Middlesex Welding Supply. They have to know how to get rid of them.

Why don't you just leave the tanks outside? Then when they go, they go

Empty tanks, cut off half, make a giant smoking grill setup.
