Head light tint

Has anyone tried to tint there own headlights? Did you shave down the little nipples that are on the lenses? I did the tail light and no issues. Just figured I'd ask before I start.

I haven't done it but yes you can carefully trim the nipples, sand until smooth, polish and tint.

That's the answer I was looking for. I got the tint from the tint shop in Edison. It's pretty thick and it stretches a lot when it's warm.

Ive tinted my headlamps on both my black Z and my jeep. Jeep i used window tint, and the camaro i used VHT Nightshade and then a bunch of gloss clear.

Found a crack in the other light and it keeps bubbling so I'm getting a new light. Not bad for my 1st try.

Not bad! You planning on wet sanding them too?

I'm going sand the little nipples flush on the headlights so the vinyl doesn't bubble up.
