They let me run a Snell '85 but couldn't run faster than 15. Asked if I broke into high 14s would I be in trouble they said no not really. I believe the neighbor has a 2000 if not 2001. But considering the launches being the key, I doubt I'll be running that much faster than I did with the auto. If I run 13s then I may be pulled.

Hmmm mine doesn't have a date it just says snell dot they didn't give me a problem the other week

bummer, i will be down in Florida from Thursday until Monday so I wont be able to make it. sucks especially since Island is only 20 mins from me now. I jsut went on Sunday for the old time drags event. was super glad that the track has reopened and is so closeby. if the event gets moved to the rain date.. i should be there.

There is the question of a certain '72 Camaro with a LS1 swap making an appearance.

I know of a bunch of local 4th gen guys that will be coming out--some to run down the strip, some just to park and hang. You guys with the older toys need to recruit some friends and make sure we have a giant turnout!

Who has that? I wish I had an LS1 for my car :( and as I recall Al sold his '72.... to power a 3rd gen with an LS1
