How many quarts of premuim oil for my 1994 Trans Am+Filter brand

Does it take 4.5 or 5.0 quarts? Also what is the best Brand of Oil Filter (I know everybody has a favorite). I would prefer AC/Delco-what is the number? Thanks, ED

Wix/Napa Gold for filter. Oil should be 5.5 qrts I recall. I like Pennzoil platinum for off the shelf oil. Pepboys can have some good deals so check for their flyer.

OEM decided to make the filters smaller.

I run the larger (which is same as the original OEM car filter) filter on my car. Napa Gold/Wix/Rottella

Wix/Napa gold ftw. PF454 is the OEM # of the big filter.

It's either 5 or 5.5 quarts. I'm a Castrol guy lol
