Who's going to the Chatterbox on Sat?
 

I saw mention of a meetup at the Chatterbox on cruise night Saturday, should have my car reassembled that afternoon so a road trip shakedown would be cool.

Who else is going?

Look for a faded silver '82 Z28 and a black IROC, there you'll find Mike and me.

We got there around 7pm and stayed until 8:30 or so, found flyers for the event on all three cars when we got back...NICE!

The bad news is that my new slave cylinder is leaking fluid. We came back to my place, slid the trans back a few inches, and it was clear that the slave seal was defective.

Autozone opens at 9am on Sunday and the website shows the have the part in stock, so I'll be there when the doors open. Best case, we'll be arriving at Island around noon.

The really good news is that the heavy duty T56 got around 100mi today and it's running perfectly. The Vette internals shift really smoothly, it's quiet, and my clutch didn't get spooged up w/ brake fluid.
