TRACKS OF SUCCESS:

Taming the Legislative Terrain in 2013
Another year of threats and opportunities affecting car enthusiasts throughout federal, state and provincial legislatures has come to a close. Despite increasingly difficult odds in some cases, the widespread forces comprising the SEMA Action Network (SAN) have earned an impressive number of victories. A comprehensive recap is highlighted in the new issue of Driving Force featured on the right. These accomplishments range from the protection of specialty parts and backyard restoration projects, limiting vehicle and property tax increases, increasing recreational access to public land, as well as limiting federal and state-level ethanol fuel mandates. SEMA SAN Strike Force

Filmed live at last month’s SEMA Show, our friends at BangShift.com posted the video above to further the SEMA Action Network’s (SAN) cause. With the SAN’s display serving as a backdrop, Chad Reynolds (right) interviewed SAN Director Colby Martin (left) about the network’s mission as a call to their audience to join our efforts.

As technology constantly advances, news travels faster than ever. Thankfully for folks like us who are passionate about cars and trucks, there is an unprecedented array of information sources as well. Many of these automotive media outlets are looking to use their channels for means beyond mere entertainment. Ardent supporters of the SEMA Action Network (SAN) known for their online magazine and forum, BangShift.com recently stepped up by posting the video pictured above with the following call to action:
“[We’re] all about driving hot rods, race cars, trucks, and more. Thanks to groups like the SAN we can do just that. This video explains what the SAN does and why you should support it. Please join now! And tell them BangShift sent you.”
It’s hard to argue with those words! Many thanks, Chad and company, for seeking us out and promoting the SAN with such a gratifying segment.
SAN members: Help grow our force! As we brace ourselves for the 2014 legislative sessions, share the piece with your friends, family, co-workers and car club members. Invite them to enlist in the SAN now, free of charge and obligation: semaSAN.com/Join.
