eficonnections tuning ?

im startin to think about tuning for my build and am not sure how to go about it. im doin eficonnections 24x system so ill be running a ls1 pcm. pcmforless told me that i could get a tuned pcm from them and trade my lt1 pcm that'd cost $250 the only reason id do this is to break in the clutch. after the clutch is broken in id get a full dyno tune for the nitrous and all. it doesnt seem smart $$ wise to do a mail tune than go pay a lot for a dyno tune. is there any tuner that will do a base tune or a mail tune to break the clutch in than do a dyno tune as like a package?

Very doubtful. This is how most people have to go about tuning. Start with a mail-order for break-in, then strap it to the rollers for the final tuning.

i wonder if devin at whiplash could do a base tune. i'm sure he will chime in, if not pm him.

I can't do Lt1 stuff yet.
If it was an ls1 I would have no problem with giving you a basic break in the clutch tune.

Its an LT1 running on an LS1 PCM... tuning wise, should be pretty similar no?

Well I just looked at the EFI connection website and it says its compatible with HP tuners, so then I'll be able to tune it. We could just get all the part throttle stuff down so you'll be safe to drive it while you break in your clutch.

i know Josh from JSPerformance is familiar with tuning LT1s as well as tuning the LS1 PCM, you may want to contact him as well
