1998 Corvette Convertible

Well my wife and I are gearing up to do some world traveling next year and I have my eyes set on a C6 Z so I think I would like to sell our C5..

Its a 98 Vert with 80,xxx miles on it. Its a Automatic. Its pewter with a tan top and light oak/black interior. The car has silver painted Y2k wheels with Dunlap tires in the front and Goodyear runflats in the back and I still have the chrome wagon wheels that came on the car. The tires have lots of life left on them. The car has the memory seats, 12 disc CD changer, dual climate LCD control. The car runs and drives beutifully. I use Mobil 1 full synthetic for motor oil. Hot idle the oil pressure is between 25-30 psi, around 35-40 during normal driving and above 40 in more spirited driving.. The tranny fluid and filter were changed last year as well as the fuel filter.

Performance Mods.. The car has a Fast 90/90 intake setup with a vararam/powerduct, 160 degree stat, and a Z06 titanium exhaust. Thats it performance wise aside from a HP tuners tune by Ron Paton.. The car has been taken to the 1/4 track 2 times over the past 1 1/2 years and has ran a best of 12.8@110 with a 2.0 60' on the run flats.. Thats full weight.. Stock it went 13.2@106 with a 2.0 60'.. I installed some drilled and slotted rotors and new brake pads a couple months back as well..

Cosmetic mods... The car has rear Z06 brake ducts ( fake ones), clear front turn signals, stainless steel screws, chrome hood liner tabs, rear tail light flush mount kit, Stainless steel screens on the side vents and front brake cooler ducts, light oak and black shift boot, light oak and black arm rest pad, light oak door handle leather wraps, and cockpit sound proofing under the carpet.

The bad... Car has some paint chips under the front bumper on the passenger side that comes up to the brake cooler ducts. I applied some touch up paint. The car has some nick here and there but overall I would say the paint is in good-VG condition. The interior is nice but the driver seat has the usual wear in the seat covers..

If your looking for a nice cruiser that looks great and can move fairly well for the amount of mods it has then this one is it. Car get 26-28mpg on the hgwy as we have taken it to Carlise for the vette show and Virginia beach last year.

The KBB value for my car in Good Condition is 20,750 and the NADA value is 17,000
Looking to get 15,000 OBO with the mods or 14,000 OBO without the mods and flashed back to stock..

Car is located in SNJ 08084.. I can txt or email pics so if interested contact me @ 757-510-4465.

There are pic up on the Fquik page as well... SLow-V6

Think the Vararam will be staying on the car.. That thing is a PITA to install and probably remove!
